HackerTutor is just me. I'm Timothy Ericsson, an American cybersecurity professional, and I teach every student myself.
Before HackerTutor, I ran the now-retired cybersecurity company 12 Security LLC. We discovered the Wyze data exposure and reported it responsibly. That work was covered by Forbes, The Washington Post, The New York Times, and other publications.

01Do I need any cybersecurity experience?+
No. You can start with no security background at all. Timothy will meet you at your current level and build the fundamentals with you before expecting you to attack anything.
02What if I have never used Linux or a terminal?+
That is completely fine. Those are teachable skills, not entry requirements. You will learn them through guided practice with someone there to explain what each step means.
03Is this only for OSCP or CEH students?+
No. Those certifications can be useful destinations, but the training starts with practical skill. You can join because you want a first security role, a stronger foundation, or simply a clear place to begin.
04Who teaches the sessions?+
Timothy Ericsson teaches every session. HackerTutor has no tutor pool, assistants, or rotating contractors. The person you contact is the person who trains you.
05How does payment work?+
